about

The magnificent sequence on the track '1992' by Steve Roach on the Sequences magazine 10th anniversary CD (No 27) inspired me for this song. But the song developed sounding very different. The song contains 21 audio tracks: 5 Modular (sequences and noise drum), 1 Creamware MiniMax ASB (sequence), 2 Nord Lead 1 (bass pedals and strings), 2 Akai AX80 (some melody and strings), 6 Kawai 100F (melodies) and 5 E-MU ESI-2000 (classical choir and Mellotron samples for the melody) tracks. Sequences driving the Modular and MiniMax are all generated by the Doepfer MAQ16/3 which is MIDI synchronized from Pro Tools LE. Because Steve Roach named his song '1992', I thought '2008' would be a good title.
