about

This song is based on the music from the YouTube video 'A changing theme' and the title refers to the 3 different sequences used on the Doepfer MAQ16/3 which gives more variety to the track. So the title has got nothing to do with Obama's campaign slogan. Each of the 3 sequences drives 3 synthesizers:
- Synthesizers.com Modular which does a bass type sequence (1st sequence you hear)
- Self-built Modular which uses the Q107 band pass and low pass filter (2nd sequence you hear)
- Creamware MiniMax ASB (3rd sequence you hear)

The DotCom sequence in the 2nd part is doubled with a low sine wave from the Q106 VCO to give the sequence more body: a tip I read in the discussion about 'Moog Bass Power' on the DotCom forum. The strings are performed on the Waldorf Q Keyboard which I programmed to simulate the string sound from my previously owned AKAI AX80. The solo's are performed on the Korg 900PS and the Clavia Nord Lead 1.

This music was entered in April to be part of the DotCom Collective CD. The result of the song you can download here is somewhat different than the one entered for the DotCom CD because the UAD Precision Enhancer kHz plug-in was used on the master mix to do it's magic and the string part uses the UAD BOSS CE-1 plug-in.
